Introductory Meeting with Representatives of the Trabzon Bar Association

On 23 October 2025, the Consul General of Georgia in Trabzon, Nikoloz Iashvili, held an introductory meeting with members of the Foreigners and Migration Law Commission of the Trabzon Bar Association.

During the meeting, the guests briefed the Consul General on the legal services they are able to provide to Georgian citizens residing in the Republic of Turkiye. They also discussed opportunities for deepening cooperation with the Georgian Bar Association, including prospects for strengthening professional relations and exchanging bilateral experience.

For his part, the Consul General informed the representatives of the Association about the main areas in which Georgian citizens in Turkey frequently require legal assistance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to pursue future cooperation and joint initiatives, which will contribute to a more effective protection of the legal interests of Georgian citizens.
