Mother Language Day
On 18 April 2026, on the occasion of Mother Language Day, the Consul General of Georgia in Trabzon, Mr. Nikoloz Iashvili, attended the event entitled “This Is My Georgia,” organized by the Georgian Culture Association of Trabzon.
The event was also attended by the Mayor of Ortahisar, Mr. Ahmet Kaya, representatives of Georgian diaspora associations operating in the Black Sea region, staff members of the Consulate General, and members of the Georgian community residing in Türkiye.
