Meeting with Representatives of the Hilton Hotel

On 6 October 2025, the Consul General of Georgia in Trabzon, Mr. Nikoloz Iashvili, met with representatives of the administration of the Hilton Trabzon Hotel, Ms. Berna Ömür and Mr. Hakan Köse.

During the meeting, the Consul General was briefed on the services, pricing, potential, and future plans of the Hilton Hotel in Trabzon. Special emphasis was placed on offering high-quality services and favorable conditions to guests arriving from Georgia.

It was noted during the meeting that in recent years the tourist flow between the two countries has increased significantly. The city of Batumi has already been incorporated into a large part of domestic tours and tourist routes linked to Turkiye’s Black Sea region, which substantially contributes to the development of tourism in Georgia and to closer ties between the two states. The discussion also touched upon the need to provide proper services to Georgian citizens who travel to Turkiye, including to Trabzon, for medical treatment.

The meeting underscored the importance of ensuring the active participation of the Georgian side in international events, festivals, and sports competitions held in Trabzon. In this regard, the hotel representatives expressed their readiness to cooperate closely with the Consulate General of Georgia and to provide high-quality services to Georgian delegations.
